Few words...

AzuraCast is an open source solution for managing and broadcasting online radios. Intuitive and complete, it allows users to create and manage their radio station without requiring advanced technical skills. The software includes a user-friendly web interface offering total control over programming, broadcasting and station administration.

It is a package that includes everything you need to make a web radio but it can also be used for a DAB or FM radio or as a personal player for a store for example.

Here are the main elements

Internet stream broadcaster (icecast) for streaming
Web administration interface with different permissions
Download audio files via the web interface or sftp
Playlist management
Playback automation based on various criteria
Possibility to broadcast from another software installed on a PC (mixxx or other) to do live
Possibility to do live from a web interface
Integrated player and page with display of the latest titles, possibility to request a title etc...
Multiradio
To make all this work you need a server (VPS) that the hosts provide for around €5 or €10 per month.

AzuraCast is ideal for online radio stations, DJs wishing to easily manage their broadcasts, or establishments such as bars, stores, and entertainment venues wishing to create a personalized sound atmosphere. Thanks to its flexibility and configuration options, it adapts to the needs of both small structures and large broadcast networks.

On this blog article  Terence Eden explains the basics of Activitypub with an example of one page of code.. Start with a domain or a subdomain,  just configure few lines upload the code and test it. It should work.

I try it. I didn't work the first time. I didn't have time to know why. I found the code that leads a blank page. I comment it. 

That would give me a start to implement ActivityPub in retilo. That would be really nice to receive comments from other AP account. Of course that leads to lot of work but interesting work. Starting by adding comment or RSS streams to nomadic identity.
