The Verdon Gorges

These gorges are an hour and a half by car from Fréjus. It takes a lot of patience to get there via small roads. You even pass through a military camp.

There are few houses and little civilization in this region, far from everything. You can go kayaking there, but there is very little water. A little higher up are some hydroelectric dams.
